In “Hogwarts Legacy” players should be able to embody their wizard’s apprentice as they want. This should also include that the evil “Unforgivable Curses” can be pronounced.
The developers at Portkey Games aim to offer players many ways to embody their character in the upcoming action role-playing game, Hogwarts Legacy. Not only should the players design their own magician’s apprentice and select their desired Hogwarts house. In the course of the game, users should also develop their own fighting style.
Players should also be able to decide for themselves which types of spells they want to use. Among them should also be curses that are actually strictly forbidden in the world of magic.
Players want to use forbidden curses
There was one in March Hogwarts Legacy Gameplay Premiere in Sony’s “State of Play” format. It has already been confirmed that players will also be able to use dark magic. According to the developers, however, some players should be really keen to use the most evil of all spells.
Also known as the Killing Curse, Avada Kedavra is strictly forbidden in the wizarding world. Victims of the curse die instantly with no visible wounds. The Killing Curse was particularly used by Lord Voldemort and his followers, the Death Eaters. The only person known to have survived this curse is Harry Potter.

How players can use dark magic or the curses has not yet been revealed. It could be limited to key moments in the story, or it could be a special power. “Hogwarts Legacy” is a pure single-player game and is scheduled to be released for Christmas 2022.
