Authoritative insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman shared information that iOS 16 will offer new ways to interact with the system and some fresh Apple applications.
In a new edition of his Power On newsletter, Gurman stated that iOS 16 is unlikely to bring major changes to the operating system, however, the update will boast “fresh apps.” It is likely that the iPhone manufacturer will add interactive widgets to the new version of iOS, as well as partially change the interface of some programs.
In addition, Gurman noted that watchOS 9 will be a “significant” update to smartwatches – they will receive an improved notification system and new health tracking features.
The official announcement of all new Apple operating systems, including iOS 16, iPadOS 16, tvOS 16, macOS 13 and watchOS 9, will take place on June 6th.
