The first alleged advertising clips for Rockstars GTA VI can now be found on YouTube. The visually pretty clips suggest several unrealistic changes in GTA and also link to dubious downloads. Read more about this below.

Despite its old age, GTA V has been relaunched for the current consoles. As a latest feature, Rockstar Games is also promoting and selling GTA +, a subscription service that offers some boosts and bonuses in GTA Online on the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series S/X for €5.99. Nevertheless, or precisely because of this, many fans are longing for a new title with GTA VI, including new protagonists and a new story, and these hopes currently seem to be being exploited in some dubious advertisements on YouTube.

GTA 6: Supposed to find teasers in the remake of San Andreas

Several users who have viewed content about GTA V have reported commercial clips that have been presented to them on YouTube. The clips are characterized by chic animations and real vehicle models, which usually only exist in GTA with modifications. Vice City was chosen as the setting for the fake clip, which is heavily based on Miami in GTA Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories. However, in the fake clip, cable cars, which are a San Francisco landmark, contradict this narrative. Otherwise, several different potential protagonists are seen pursuing various plots and the obligatory interactions with the police are also present.

While these fake promo videos have not caused any harm to users up to this point, the intention behind them is revealed in the end. At the end of the clip, a download button is linked to a dubious website where a game download is suggested. At this point, we can therefore only advise against believing such unrealistic information and clicking on links in such clips.
