If the Swedish weather allows it, you can tonight have the opportunity to check out such a super-blood moon. This huge blood orange will appear just before dawn early on Monday morning.
The reason why the moon turns red is because of all the earth’s sunrises and sunsets that are reflected on the moon’s surface after a lunar eclipse. The reason why it is super is because the moon is currently close to the earth in its orbit.
It remains to be seen how well this superblood moon can be seen from this elongated country, but if you do not want to go out and freeze, you can instead check out NASA’s broadcast below.
Science, Space,
superblood moon, moon, sun, earth
