Play the High Isle Chapter prologue for free now

Since January 27, 2022, we have known exactly where this is taking us upcoming High Isle chapters of The Elder Scrolls Online will take place in June. The first story highlight of the year-long story “Legacy of the Bretons” leads us to an island archipelago west of Tamriel, which we are allowed to enter for the first time in the Elder Scrolls story. But what exactly leads us to the high island and the prison island of Amenos?

The story about the legacy of the Bretons began with the first dungeon DLC Ascending Tide. But it’s only now that things really get going with the newly released prologue quest line for the upcoming High Isle chapter. The official announcement states:

“A shaky chance for peace between the three alliances threatens to be shattered, and it is up to you to uncover a vast conspiracy that threatens not only the Bretons but Tamriel as a whole.”

Unlike the Chapter, the High Isle Prologue is now available for free to all players on all platforms (thanks to the “Free Play Event” this even applies to players who don’t even own TESO!). To get started, simply activate the associated quest, Soaring Doubt, in the Crown Store. In the course of the assignments, you will meet an important character from High Isle, Princess Arabelle Davaux, and you can also look forward to a trip to the island of Vvardenfell. The area from the Morrowind chapter has recently been open to all Tamriel heroes completely free of charge. Also cool: via the prologue you earn the mica dust action as a reward.
