Analyst: Apple equipment in Russia will become useless

Today it became known that Pegatron, which manufactures some models of the iPhone, was forced to suspend the work of two of its factories – in Shanghai and Kunshan. Production will resume no earlier than the epidemiological situation improves.

Interestingly, Pegatron has until recently been able to keep production running as it was by using a closed system that reduces the risk of employees becoming infected with the coronavirus. Now, however, due to restrictions in connection with the new outbreak, the Taiwanese contract manufacturer has closed factories in China.
