IT House reported on April 15 that Tencent’s dark mobile game “Rachel” announced that it will officially stop its operations in mainland China at 11:00 on June 15, 2022. On April 20, an exchange compensation activity will be opened for users who have previously purchased mobile game product tokens and who have unconsumed diamond tokens in their accounts.

IT House learned that the mobile game “Rachel” was launched on all platforms on June 20, 2019, and it was announced to be out of operation after nearly 3 years of operation. The official reason was that Tencent and the agent of the “Rachel” game developer Agreement expires.

According to the Game Daily report, one month before the official shutdown of “Rachel”, the game was still being updated normally. The current official last update time is March 17, 2022. From the update announcement, it can be seen that the mobile game “Rachel” is still in normal operation in March, and new activities such as “cumulative recharge rebates” and “special gift packages” have also been launched.

Some players expressed dissatisfaction with the sudden announcement of the suspension of operation of the mobile game “Rachel”, saying that “the server will be closed as soon as the game event is over, and the leeks will be cut.”In this regard, a complaint was filed to the third-party consumer platform, and the platform has now accepted the player’s complaint.
