IT House May 15 news, HP is about to launch a 23.8-inch Z24m monitor, which is aimed at creative professionals, equipped with a webcam,The user’s location can be tracked to keep the user in the center of the frame during video callswhich is similar to what Apple has done in its Studio Display and some iPad Center stage functionality provided in .

The HP Z24m’s 5-megapixel tiltable webcam sits at the top of the display, and users can also adjust the camera’s settings to make it faster to track the user’s location. While you can’t move the webcam away from the display, it can be pushed down so it doesn’t capture the picture, which helps protect privacy. The Z24m also has dual noise-cancelling microphones and dual speakers, and the display itself features an IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5ms response time, and HDR support.

The monitor also supports HP’s Auto Lock and Wake feature. The feature uses a built-in proximity sensor to detect if the user is in front of the screen, and if enabled, the display automatically locks when the user walks away and turns on when he comes back.

It’s unclear how HP’s webcam tracking compares to Apple’s Center Stage, which uses machine learning to help you (and others in the frame with you) stay in the center of the frame.

IT Home has learned that the Z24m is scheduled to be released in July, and there is no price information yet. HP will also release the Z24q this month, priced at $347 (about 2359.6 yuan), the two monitors have very similar specifications, but the latter does not have video conferencing capabilities.
