Xiaomi, or rather its software department, is working with varying degrees of success. Following a successful and useful update, developers throw out firmware with a lot of bugs and critical malfunctions.
In some cases, after the update, users get bricks at all, which are extremely difficult to reanimate. Nevertheless, a huge number of models leads to the fact that updates for certain devices are released almost daily. Today it became known about the imminent appearance of MIUI 13 for three smartphones released in 2020: Redmi Note 9, Redmi 9 and POCO M2. All of them belong to the middle or even lower price range, so the release of the update is even more amazing.
For lovers of exact definitions, Redmi Note 9, Redmi 9 and POCO M2 will move to builds V13.0.0.1.SJOMIXM, V13.0.0.1.SJCMIXM and V13.0.0.1.SJRINXM respectively. But it’s not worth it to rejoice too much and open champagne yet, the date for the mass distribution of these software versions is scheduled for August or September. It cannot be excluded that some of these smartphones will receive a lightweight assembly of MIUI 13 Lite, which is now being actively tested by Xiaomi.
