Designer Max Quest has unveiled a concept for a modular wireless speaker that looks better than any other similar gadget on the market. The concept received a modest name Customizable Bluetooth Speaker.
The Customizable Bluetooth Speaker is based on the main audio module, to which you can connect other units, greatly expanding the possibilities of the whole design. The blocks are attached to each other like Lego bricks and connected by cables or internal contacts. The speaker is placed in a separate module, and there can be several of them to implement surround sound.
The main module has an electronic filling, which includes an amplifier and a relatively large touch screen. You can control playback with your smartphone via Bluetooth or using the screen. On the visualization of the concept, you can see the running Spotify application with the waveform of the track.
If desired, you can connect another screen that will display the date, time, weather, smartphone notifications, exchange rates and other information. In a miniature module, you can implement a portable music player with support for streaming services and the ability to connect to acoustics using an audio cable or Bluetooth.
For musicians, modules can be released that allow you to compose music or create mixes live – samplers, synthesizers, MIDI stations, mixers, and the like. Thanks to them, this wireless speaker from an amateur device turns into a professional musical instrument.
Hardly designer ideas Max Quest will be translated into reality in the near future or at all someday. But it would be nice, right?
