Released October 5, 2021 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One, Alan Wake Remastered has allowed many people to reconnect with the special atmosphere of Remedy Entertainment’s game, first released on Xbox 360 in May 2010. While the sequel, Alan Wake 2, is still under development, the Finnish studio let us know first of all that a Nintendo Switch version of Alan Wake Remastered will also see the light of day, with a release window scheduled for next fall. Sam Lake, Creative Director of Remedy Entertainment, and Illka Villy, the actor who lent his features to the character of Alan Wake, have fun with an advanced version of the game in a video where we will learn other crisp information.

Indeed, the idea is also to reassure us about the progress of work on Alan Wake 2, of which we can appreciate a new artwork. Nothing to jump to the ceiling, there is no question of revealing anything at this stage of production, and it will probably be necessary to wait for the next school year to have concrete elements to put in their mouths. Sam Lake asks us to be patient, that the team is on the right track to offer us something solid. In the meantime, this speech was also an opportunity to talk about a TV series “Alan Wake”, since the AMC group managed to get their hands on the licensing rights for an adaptation on the small screen. The deal is just in its infancy and it will therefore be necessary to wait a few years before seeing the final result, broadcast on AMC platforms, which already have The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad.
