At the end of the week, we received another exciting leak. This should show the build of a new “Silent Hill” project from 2020. Additionally, there is talk that this isn’t the only Silent Hill title currently in development.

Rumors about a reboot of the “Silent Hill” series have persisted in the past. Initially, there was talk of the comeback of the popular horror series being funded by Sony Interactive Entertainment and Kojima Productions is developedreports circulated in early 2021 that the reboot was being housed by another “well-known Japanese developer”.

After the topic had quieted down again in the last few months, the insider AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem, who is best known for his insider information on Capcom projects, has now provided new topics of conversation. On Twitter he shared footage that was passed to him by an unspecified source and is said to show a “Silent Hill” build from 2020.

Dusk Golem: “Silent Hill Leak. There’s a lot I don’t share right now. This is from a relatively new source to me, but I’ve had more than enough evidence to believe them. I will also mention the names Anita & Maya, SMS Messages.”

Multiple Silent Hill projects in the works?

Since the pictures are from 2020, as I said, the insider points out that the underlying project could now look very different. At the same time, Dusk Golem assured that the images come from a reliable source and are therefore likely to be real. In addition, the source is said to have confirmed to him that several new “Silent Hill” projects are currently in development. A rumor that, by the way, is not entirely new.

More news about Silent Hill:

Quite a while ago, we received unconfirmed reports that, in addition to a reboot of the main series, an adventure based on the “Silent Hill” series was also being developed that would break new ground in terms of play and, above all, history will take center stage. The “Layers of Fear” and “The Medium” makers from Bloober Team were discussed as possible developers, but they denied working on a “Silent Hill” project last year.

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Konami are also keeping a low profile on the relevant reports. However, the leaked images are currently being blocked due to copyright claims, which could suggest there is indeed some truth to the leak.
