Along with beta versions of iOS 15.5, iPadOS 15.5 and macOS Monterey 12.4, Apple has released a pre-release test build of firmware 15.5 for Studio Display monitors.
Immediately after the start of sales of the new monitor, buyers began to complain en masse about the terrible quality of the built-in camera. The company has promised to fix issues with the Studio Display webcam in a future software update. In the last beta version of the software, Apple partially improved the quality of the camera, but it still remains unsuitable for video calls.
It’s worth noting that a Mac with macOS Monterey 12.4 RC is required to install the beta software on Studio Display.
