Three Russian marketplaces have allowed the sale of goods from the list of parallel imports on their sites. We are talking about Ozon, Wildberries and Yandex Market. They write about it Vedomosti.

All three sites gave permission for the sale of goods from the list immediately after the adoption of this list. By the way, it looks rather strange:

According to an Ozon representative, there are no goods from the list of parallel imports on the site yet – the sellers have not yet had time to study the legislation, so there was no reaction.

Parallel imports will help to cope with the shortage of goods. But since they will be delivered to Russia, bypassing the permission of the manufacturer and the copyright holder, only the sellers themselves will be able to take on warranty obligations. In addition, parallel imports are not a guarantee of low prices.

The widespread sale of legalized “gray” goods has another problem – it is a blow to the official representative offices of companies that cannot survive in such conditions. For consumers, this is bad, first of all, with warranty and service obligations that relate to goods purchased from official supplies. Everything is simple here: no representation – no warranty and official service.
