In the developer live stream for the remake of the horror legend Dead Space (from 7:14 at buy) gives EA’s Motive Studio a look behind the scenes and reveals that the graphically complex new edition will be released on January 27th.
If you’ve got a good 70 minutes and are die-hard fans of the 2008 original, then the team’s full live stream, titled “Dead Space | Crafting the Tension,” is for you. It’s about lighting effects and volumetric fog, modeling the Necromorph and all sorts of aspects of art design. If you click play at the bottom of the embedded video, you’ll see the only longer, real gameplay scene from the live stream.
