Alan Wake is about to make its debut on a Nintendo console, Remedy has now announced a Switch version of Alan Wake Remastered.
As confirmed by Remedy’s Creative Director Sam Lake, the switch implementation is to be published in autumn 2022, a specific date is still pending.
A visit to Bright Falls
“We’re excited to announce that players will be able to visit Bright Falls on the Nintendo Switch when Alan Wake Remastered releases for the platform this fall,” he says.
“The game will only be released digitally for the Nintendo Switch and runs natively on the hardware. We’ll be showing more in the coming months and look forward to sharing the Alan Wake story with Nintendo fans for the first time.”

Alan Wake was originally released for the Xbox 360 in 2010 and for the PC in 2012. The series already made its debut on Sony consoles with Alan Wake Remastered, which was released in 2021 for PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
After a long wait, Remedy is now also working on Alan Wake 2, which is scheduled for release in 2023.
