In connection with its Google I / O 22 presentation, Google announces that it has revived its digital wallet Google Wallet.
The digital wallet can be used to store debit cards, membership cards, vaccine cards, driver’s licenses, tickets, car keys and more so the user has direct access to these in their mobile or smartwatch.
Google Wallet comes with the same security features as Android and lets you control your data and encrypts all your purchases.
Cards added to Google Wallet also work with Google Pay for contactless payments. You can also connect Google Wallet with other apps.
Google Wallet will be released “soon” for both Android and Wear OS. In Sweden, this will mean that the Google Pay app will instead be Google Wallet.
