Google has added a new member in its catalog of wireless headphones: after the entry-level Pixel Buds A-Series, here are the Buds Pro that we could compare with the AirPods Pro. Both ranges have a similar in-ear design, but the new SKU offers active noise cancellation, made possible with a six-core audio chip.

To fit better in the ears, the Pixel Buds Pro add a Silent Seal system supposed to maximize the volume of noise canceled, while remaining comfortable thanks to sensors that measure the pressure in the ear canal. Spatial audio will also be there by the end of the year. A multipoint connection function allows audio playback to be automatically switched between the devices used.

The headphones are IPX4 certified (just like the AirPods 3 and Pro), the case being IPX2. Battery life is 11 hours without ANC, and 7 hours with active noise cancellation. The Buds Pro are priced at $199, with availability for July 21.
