Mainz on Thursday signed midfielder Dominik Kohr on a long-term contract after having him on loan from Bundesliga rivals Eintracht Frankfurt for the last season and a half. The 28-year-old Kohr joined Mainz on loan in January 2021 and has now agreed a deal to 2026. “This club is close to my heart and I want to continue to wear the Mainz jersey,” Kohr told the club homepage. “I have felt a part of this special family from my very first day and it’s been a privilege to have experienced what this club is all about.”
