A teacher’s aide at an elementary school in Newark was charged Tuesday with assaulting a 7-year-old child with autism last month, authorities said. Corey D. Foushee, 33, an aide at Quitman Street Community School, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to a spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
