“Mass Effect” will continue in the foreseeable future. But there is still a question mark behind the protagonist. A supposed hint turned out to be a mistake by the store team.
For a short while it looked like BioWare and Electronic Arts themselves leaked it and let it be known that Commander Shepard would appear in the upcoming “Mass Effect”.
For a stir provided a Mass Effect N7-Day lithographwhose description could be seen on the official site and mentioned the said commander himself.
However, you shouldn’t get caught up in it too soon. While the “leak” initially sounded quite credible due to the publication on the official website, BioWare’s Michael Gamble made sure that it was correctly classified on Twitter.
No insight into the development
According to him, it was a bug, but not in the sense of an “accidental leak”. Rather, he pointed out that the people who run the store have no insight into the development. That sounds plausible, because social media appearances are often managed by external agencies.
“The first version was written by the people who run the store who don’t know the game,” so Gamble. However, he did not clearly state whether or not Shepard will show up. The reference to the Commander has since been removed.
The description of the lithograph revealed other details. There is talk, among other things, of a four-man team led by “a krogan”. It was also recently indicated that the new title on Based on Unreal Engine 5 is developed.
Really many details are not known about “Mass Effect 5”. However, recently leaked that production a first important milestone could take. From the prototype phase, the game progressed to “early development”. But that also means that fans will have to wait a year or two for the sequel.
Other Mass Effect news:
