IT House reported on May 12 that Electronic Arts said that since its release in February 2019, the net booking value of the free-to-play game “Apex Heroes” has exceeded $2 billion. That said, the game crossed the $2 billion milestone in its fiscal fourth quarter ending March 31, 2022.

In a recent earnings call, EA Chief Financial Officer Chris Suh said that the just-concluded 12th season of Apex Legends was the most successful season in the game’s history, with Apex Legends net bookings up more than 40% this year.

A year ago today, former EA CFO Blake Jorgensen reported that Apex Legends earned more than $600 million in fiscal 2021, helping it reach its latest net bookings of more than $1 billion in the middle of the fourth quarter.

IT House learned that “Apex Heroes” is a free-to-play battle royale multiplayer online role-playing first-person shooter game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, and follows the worldview of the “Titanfall” series.
