An analyst not only wants to know what exactly the iPhone 14 Pro models will look like, but also how Apple’s smartphone lineup will evolve into 2026.

There are still a few months to go before the iPhone 14 will be launched in September 2022. Nevertheless, we already know a number of details about the new models, for example through leaked pictures of protective covers. Among other things, the Pro variants, i.e. the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, will offer a unique design with two punch holes on the front, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will feature the traditional notch.

The iPhone 14 Pro is supposed to be that big

Industry analyst Ross Young wants to know the sizes of this year’s iPhones already. In a tweet, the insider writes that the Pro models will each be a little larger than the iPhone 13. The differences are said to be due to the new design – i.e. the distance of the notch in favor of the two holes and the smaller distance between the display and the smartphone -Edge. In principle, the new models should be able to display more pixels than was previously the case, even if they are hardly noticeable.

This is how the iPhone will continue until 2026

Ross Young not only comments on the iPhone 14, but also on the Future of Apple smartphones. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will likely be the same size as this year’s offshoots, according to the analyst. In 2023, however, the standard models will also be equipped with the punch holes.

Another innovation could then be introduced with the iPhone 16 Pro: The Face ID should then disappear from the display. In 2024, the Pro models could only have one hole for the camera – the other variants should follow suit in 2025. And in 2026 the iPhone 18 Pro should finally be ready: A smartphone with a completely free display, without any notch or punch holes.
