Intel is currently having difficulty producing its ARC Alchemist GPUs. From entry-level ARC 3 to mid-range and high-end ARC 5 and 7, the chips fit into a handful of laptops only available in South Korea at the moment.
The brand turned to Samsung for its launch and to conduct market testing, with wider rollout not expected until later in the year.
However, the small ARC 370M is already displayed in some benchmarks. It has been tested in an MSI Summit E16 Flip Evo laptop and features 8 Xe Cores, 128 EU, 1024 SP for a frequency of 1550 MHz. The GPU is associated with 4 GB of dedicated DDR6 and represents the most successful model of the ARC3 series which comes in ARC 350M and ARC 370M.
The GPU was tested under 3D Mark, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Metro Exodus, all at 1080P. And the results are rather encouraging since the card is positioned at the level of the Nvidia RTX 3050. Enough to offer something to play occasionally in mid-range laptops.
