IT House reported on May 11 that at CES 2022, ASUS released the world’s first 17.3-inch foldable OLED laptop, the Zenbook 17 Fold, equipped with BOE’s screen.

Today, BOE said in an article,BOE’s first 17.3-inch foldable OLED notebook product has been shipped exclusively for ASUS.

BOE has stated that the panel adopts BOE’s new generation of independent algorithm technology, which greatly improves the screen quality, and the display of low-gray images is more accurate.Easily create two 12.5-inch, 1920×1280 displays by folding the laptop down the middle, making viewing more free and making operations borderless. Not only that, BOE’s 17.3-inch AMOLED flexible screen has also passed the TüV Rheinland eye protection certification, supporting 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and Dolby Vision HDR certification.

IT Home understands that,ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold features Dolby Atmos and four-speaker Harman Kardon-certified sound system, a high-definition infrared camera supports Windows Hello, and the new Intel Vision Sensing Controller chip supports features such as user presence detection. The notebook has a built-in color sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness and color temperature; and a 5 MP webcam with ASUS 3D noise reduction technology for clearer video calls.

In terms of configuration, the laptop is equipped with the latest12th Generation Intel Core i7 U-Series ProcessorsIntel Iris Xe graphics card with two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports.
