Nintendo has just updated the sales of its Nintendo Switch which can now count on a fleet of 107.65 million of consoles in the world. Over the past 12 months, the console has sold 23.06 million copies. That’s 20% less than the console’s sales the year before, largely due to the shortage of semiconductors which slows down, even paralyzes, industry worldwide but not only… Nintendo notes that the console lacked a locomotive game like Animal Crossing: New Horizons...
Anyway the Nintendo Switch continues its ascent. After having (already) exceeded sales of the Wii, the console could soon reach those of the gameboy (118.69 million copies) and perhaps even approach those of the DS (154.02 million copies.) In the meantime, find below the details of Nintendo Switch sales this year and the sales of the various Nintendo consoles to date.
