Euro 2024 in Germany will open in Munich and the final will be played in Berlin, the executive committee of the ruling body UEFA decided on Tuesday. UEFA said that the 24-team tournament will open June 14, 2024 in Munich’s arena and Berlin’s Olympic Stadium will host the title match a month later on July 14. It is the same arrangement as at the 2006 World Cup where Munich also hosted the opener and Berlin the final.
