Over the years, ASUS has finally found the magic formula to offer laptops that are both design and productivity-oriented. Finally, it is with its Zenbook range that the brand innovates the most by offering new technologies each year, and by orienting its products towards productivity and creation.

On the sidelines of a refresh of its entire range, we thus see the appearance of two real novelties in the Pro and Duo range.

Zenbook Pro 16X OLED

One of the big news is the appearance in the catalog of the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED. ASUS thus inaugurates a large variant within its offer, with, as its name suggests, a laptop equipped with a 16-inch 4K 60Hz Nanoedge HDR-compatible touchscreen OLED screen in 16: 9 format.

The screen has Pantone certification and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. It is compatible with ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus with 4096 pressure levels.

The Zenbook Pro 16X Oled takes up the unibody chassis in aeronautical aluminum alloy with a thickness limited to 16.8mm at the thickest point. It offers a keyboard installed on a hinge which automatically rises when opened and provides an opening to optimize ventilation flows (AAS Ultra system).

Under the keyboard, there is a gigantic double-functional trackpad: it can be transformed into a touch-sensitive numeric keypad. For more ergonomics, ASUS has integrated a haptic feature: a force feedback is present when pressing the keys.

On the left, there is also the Asus Dial, a touch ring integrated into the chassis which makes it possible to offer advanced controls in various photo, video or music editing software. It allows you to change tools on the fly in the different software of the Adobe suite, for example, and can be fully configured.

Internally, we are witnessing a serious move upmarket: the ZenBook Pro 16X OLED has an Intel Core i9 12900H CPU associated with 32 GB of LPDDR5 and an Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU. All this is supported by a 96 Wh battery and the system optimized ventilation combined with a vapor chamber will achieve a TDP of 140W.

The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED will be available from the 3rd quarter starting at €2,999 including tax.

Zenbook PRO Duo 14 OLED

Another laptop to benefit from a significant evolution within the Asus catalog: the Zenbook Pro Duo 14 OLED.

Heir to the Zenbook Pro Duo range, the Pro Duo 14 OLED inaugurates a more compact format with a 14-inch screen. Asus evokes a growing demand from users for this type of device dedicated to content creators and productivity.

Due to the Duo family, this is a portable PC with two screens, the second being located just above the keyboard on a new ergolift hinge providing more space for component ventilation (AAS Ultra) while providing a more comfortable 12 degree viewing angle.

The secondary screen rises automatically when the laptop is unfolded and is reinforced with a 14-inch OLED 120Hz screen in 2880×1800 pixels. Again, the screen benefits from Pantone certification with 100% DCI-P3 coverage.

The secondary panel displays 12.7 inches diagonally in 2880×864 pixels and 120 Hz, but in LCD this time.

Internally, there is also up to Intel’s Core i9 12900H, associated with 32 GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU. The laptop boasts a maximum TDP of 85W.

It is expected in the third quarter from €2,099 including tax.
