Update: Applications are now open. Head below to apply for registration.

In April, Apple announced that WWDC 2022 would take place on June 6th. Along with this, some developers will be able to visit the whole day at Apple Park. Now the company has shared more details for those who want to apply for in-person participation in WWDC 2022.

The most important information is that the submission of applications begins on May 9th. Apple explains who is eligible to submit a request:

Participation in this event is free and open to Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program members. Invitations will be distributed randomly and are not transferable to another person.

Developers can submit their requests to participate in this WWDC 2022 personal experience from May 9 at 9:00 AM PT until May 11 at 9:00 AM PT. On May 12 at 6:00 pm PDT, people will be notified of their status.

To ensure the health of everyone at Apple Park, visitors “must follow Apple’s health and safety protocols, which also take into account the latest requirements and guidance from public health authorities regarding COVID-19.” While the company does not mention proof of vaccination, it does say that a negative COVID-19 test is required no more than three days before the event.

Additionally, masks are not mandatory at this time, although the company will provide details of the latest requirements to attendees prior to in-person participation in WWDC 2022.
