The action role-playing game has been in place since it was launched earlier this month Diablo Immortal in the crossfire of criticism. This is mainly due to the microtransactions and the strong Pay2Win allegations from the ranks of the community. Blizzard Entertainment had recently tried to calm things down a bit, but that’s about it failed mercilessly. A recently published video is likely to fuel the discussions even further. Because apparently there is a fixed loot cap in Diablo Immortal.

Who is the video from?

The YouTuber “echo hack” took the trouble Diablo Immortal’s loot system to examine a little more closely. He’s already playing the action RPG since the alpha and can accordingly much experience show. Also, some friends have supported his efforts and provided additional results.

Loot restriction at Free2Play

In the video mentioned at the beginning, the Youtuber shows that there are some hidden limitations in Diablo Immortal (buy now ) are that Blizzard has neither mentioned nor communicated elsewhere. According to previous studies, these primarily concern the Free2Play part of the action role-playing game. Accordingly, certain loot caps are built in to prevent players from only a limited amount to get good rewards if they no money pay.

The Youtuber provided some examples for this: As soon as you in one day six legendary items have received as a drop, the drop chance for more legendary items drastically reduced. The same applies to the jewels, which you will also find much more rarely after exceeding the mentioned 6 mark per day. It’s worse with side quests, “purple bosses” and cursed chests. These grant namely after five successful attempts no more rewards at all.
