The official sale of the refresh of the Radeon RX 6000 series from AMD starts today at 3 p.m. This involves three new model series: The Radeon RX 6650 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6950 XT. How good the availability will be at the start is not known – no models are listed in advance when you click on Price comparison sites like PC Games Hardware currently (as of 1 p.m.) Likewise at the PC Games Hardware you will find some information about the refresh – Our sister magazine has also already carried out a large test in the background. The test embargo is to fall at the same time as today’s sales start at 3 p.m.

There is not much new to say about the technology, since it is “only” a refresh. However, AMD promises improved performance per watt and thus focuses on efficiency. Notebookcheck has compiled some details on this – Among other things, you can see in an overview that the new models all require a little more power than the respective basic version, whereby the performance plus should be somewhat larger in relation. The RAM of the RX 6750 XT and 6650 XT is also clocked faster and therefore offers more data throughput per second.
