Although Forza Horizon 5 was only released about half a year ago, the sixth part already seems to be in development.

A sixth part on the horizon

At least that’s what job advertisements suggest XGP were discovered. There, developer Playground Games is looking for a level designer for one of its “next AAA titles” to join the Forza Horizon team.

Although another sequel has not yet been officially confirmed by the developer or publisher, there is no denying that the job description sounds a lot like Forza Horizon 6.

A DLC for Forza Horizon 5 can be ruled out because of the pre-production work of an upcoming triple-A title. In addition, the developer points out in the job description that the position will be part of the Forza Horizon team.

Forza Horizon 5 was well received – so why shouldn’t there be a part 6?

“Playground Games is looking for a level designer to join our Forza Horizon team,” the ad reads. “As a member of the design team on an AAA title, you’ll be responsible for much of the game’s level design, while mentoring and guiding younger team members.”

“You will be part of the level design team of our next AAA title and you will be responsible for the development of fun, playable gameplay experiences.”

But even if we have put all the pieces of the puzzle together correctly here, it will certainly be a long time before we get to see Forza Horizon 6. If the title, like Forza Horizon 5, has been in development for about three years, it shouldn’t be released until 2042 at the earliest.
