After the teaser we showed earlier, Ford now presents the E-Transit Custom. It is a completely electric version of the van that has now also been given a completely new look. The car must be able to travel up to 380 km on one charge and you must be able to charge it quickly. Just like the F-150 Lightning pickup, this ProPower gets Onboard, which means that you can operate machines and other things via electrical outlets in the car.
Will be manufactured in Turkey and this will start in about a year. More information about the car will be revealed in September.

Ford teases electric Tourneo Custom
The new minibus premieres on 9 May
Ford has a completely new generation of the Tourneo Custom minibus underway and first out is a completely electric version. It will premiere on May 9 and now begins the teaser campaign for the car. From next year, it will start production in Turkey. As we can see in the teaser image above, the Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom will be very similar, but the former, which is a transport car, will not get the two lower DRL lights.

Today, sales of the Ford E-Transit begin
The company’s first electric transport car
A year ago we wrote about the Ford E-Transit and today the sale of the electric transport car starts. It takes 31.7 km on one charge and the price tag says SEK 499,900 (before the climate bonus of SEK 70,000). Under the hood, there are two different engine options to choose from – 184 horses and 430 newton meters or 269 horses and 430 newton meters. The battery pack is 67 kWh and you can quickly charge this with up to 115 kW. E-Transit is offered as a cabinet or single-cabin chassis and you can order it in two length and weight variants – 3.5 and 4.25 tons. As an option, you can buy Ford Pro Power Onboard, which gives you power outlets with up to 2.3 kW that can be used for hand tools and the like. The first deliveries will take place around midsummer next year.

Two new campers based on Ford Transit
One with cutlet hairstyle
It’s time to start planning for this year’s camping trips, and maybe even think about whether you should get a new ride for the purpose. Ford now presents the Transit Custom Nugget Camper, which is available with a pop-up roof or a solid cutlet hairstyle. The cars have recently been shown at the Brussels Motor Show and they are both produced together with Westfalia. The larger of the two is called Plus and is 36.7 centimeters longer than the regular one. It has a larger closet, toilet and the high ceiling that provides more space. Lots of accessories are available – everything from better sound systems to holders for bicycles and sports equipment. Under the hood is a new 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel that is available with either 130 or 170 horses. It is connected to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic gearbox. The launch will take place this spring, but unfortunately we do not have any prices at the moment.
