Clearly presenting himself as the spiritual successor of dead space, The Callisto Protocol (developed by EA’s license father) was unveiled this evening through a gameplay video lasting just over two minutes. The opportunity to discover this TPS largely inspired by its elder. Indeed, its gloomy atmosphere, its multi-point sight, its localized damage, its places and creatures, as well as its liters of hemoglobin seem straight out of dead space. A point that can be positive as the first episode of the franchise still remains today one of the most striking horror games of its generation. Fortunately, there are a few new features such as the interaction with the scenery which can prove to be dangerous, both for the creatures and for our hero. What to apprehend each fight differently and to add some difficulties to a game which promises to be particularly distressing.
