sony is currently preparing many adaptations for the licenses playstationand we now know that Horizon will be entitled to his series on Netflix after the success of Horizon Zero Dawnand more recently that of Horizon Forbidden West. Since this was confirmed a bit hastily by Jim Ryan, we still don’t know everything about this new series, but the always very well informed Jeff Grubb seems to hold some details about this show, starting with his name, which would be Horizon 2074.
A series faithful to the games, but over two eras?
In his program Grubbsnax, relayed today by Eurogamerthe journalist indicates that series Horizon 2074 will not be a reboot, nor a remake, nor a reinterpretation of the gamesand the story will take place between the time of the two games and when things started to go wrong for the world (in the past).
He explains that the series would “accompany” the games, highlighting certain events that take place at the same time as Aloy’s adventure. This would therefore mean that the series would set up a large gallery of characters so as not to be solely centered on Aloy. He also indicates that the series will obviously be shot in Toronto.
Obviously, we will take this information with a grain of salteven if the history of the journalist is reliable, knowing that the pitch and the names may still change over the next few months.
