A grand jury has indicted a Bridgeton motorist on aggravated manslaughter and death by auto charges in a 2021 fatal crash that killed a 92-year-old man. Rufino Perez, 22, was driving a pickup truck on the 400 block of Irving Avenue/Route 552 in Upper Deerfield Township on Dec. 30 when his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a pickup truck driven by Nathaniel Thomas, of Bridgeton, according to New Jersey State Police.
