Changan Deep Blue C385 exposure: 152,800~239,800 yuan, CLTC battery life starts at 515km

IT House reported on May 9 that Changan Automobile released a new digital pure electric brand “Deep Blue” in April, announcing that it will officially accelerate its transformation into a smart and low-carbon travel technology company. Subsequently, Changan Deep Blue announced its first model C385. The new car will be divided into three different power models: pure electric version, extended-range version, and hydrogen fuel cell version.

Several media have exposed the pricing of the Deep Blue C385, which is suspected to be between 152,800 and 239,800. Among them, the C385 has only one model with an extended program, which is 152,800 yuan; the entry price of the pure electric model is 166,800 yuan, and there are more advanced models of 179,800 yuan; the hydrogen-electric hybrid model is 239,800 yuan.

This figure is a bit lower than the previous estimates by major media, but at present, Changan officials have not responded, and the final announcement shall prevail. Then, assuming that this price is true, the main competitors of Changan Deep Blue C385 currently include Weilai ET5, Tesla Model 3, BYD Seal, GAC Aian V PLUS and other models.

According to the information released by Changan, the C385 hydrogen fuel electric model, as the first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell car in China, has a cruising range of more than 700km under the CLTC standard, and it only takes 3 minutes to replenish energy. According to the plan, Changan Deep Blue C385 will be officially launched in the second quarter, and the vehicle will be delivered in August at the latest.

The dark blue C385 is positioned as a medium-sized sedan. The new car will provide three power systems of pure electric power, extended range and hydrogen fuel. The length, width and height of the body are 4820/1890/1480mm respectively, the wheelbase is 2900mm, and the drag coefficient of the whole vehicle is only 0.23Cd.

IT House has reported that the official also stated that the car has multiple cameras and millimeter-wave sensors, which can realize remote unmanned valet parking and L3+ assisted driving functions.

Deng Chenghao, general manager of Changan New Energy, introduced: “Deep Blue C385 is equipped with Changan New Energy’s Chinese team and the British team to jointly build the first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell system for domestic cars, achieving ultra-high power generation efficiency and ultra-long stack life.”

According to reports, the comprehensive cruising range of the Deep Blue C385 hydrogen-electric version under CLTC operating conditions can reach more than 700km, and the hydrogen consumption for feeding power is as low as 0.65 kg / 100km or less, and it can achieve ultra-fast energy replenishment in 3 minutes; the pure electric version of the model is under CLTC operating conditions. The comprehensive cruising range exceeds 700km, the maximum power exceeds 190kW, and the power consumption under comprehensive working conditions is less than 12.3kWh / 100km; the comprehensive cruising range of the extended-range model exceeds 1200km, the pure electric range exceeds 200km, and the fuel consumption of the power-fed driving is less than 4.5L / 100km.
