Augsburg have secured Enrico Maaßen as their new coach, as successor to Markus Weinzierl, after agreeing a deal for him to move from his current position with Borussia Dortmund’s under-23s. Maaßen, 38, agreed a deal with Augsburg on Wednesday to fill the last vacant coaching position in the Bundesliga. The running time of the contract was not revealed and both sides said a few last details still needed to be ironed out.
