Last year, Google Nest Hub received an update that allowed the smart screen to show air quality on the home screen, now that feature also lands on Google Maps on iOS and Android, at least in the US.
To access the feature where it is available, click on the layer icon in the Google Maps app, where there should be an option for air quality. The scale ranges from zero to “400+”.
