A WWE RPG is in development and will soon be announced for previously unknown platforms.

A role-playing game in the WWE wrestling universe? According to Stephanie McMahon, this is exactly what is being developed.

As McMahon reported as Chief Brand Officer in the last financial report, a corresponding deal had been made and a disclosure should take place soon.

It is initially unclear on which platforms the WWE role-playing game should appear. At the same time, since they raved about the strong performance of their games for mobile devices, it might stand to reason that it will only be developed for this platform.

“We continue to see strong performance from our mobile games with 2K and Scopely, SuperCard and Champions and recently signed a new roleplaying deal to be announced soon.”

As a publishing partner, 2K Games also seems to be an option for the role-playing game. 2K Games is already the publisher of the WWE 2K series of games.
