Quite exactly two years ago we were told that Cyberpunk 2077the world would expand in the form of an anime called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The premiere will take place on Netflix in September, and above you will see a brand new trailer for the glory.
The series will follow a “street kid” on the streets of Night City who chooses to become an edgerunner – mercenaries who are willing to do most things as long as they get paid. Behind the anime is Trigger Studio, which among other things has given us Kill la Kill, Little Witch Acadamia, Space Patrol Luluco and Darling in the Franxx.
The style is reminiscent of the older school’s anime films, and as you can see in the clip below, it will be forbidden for children to enter the Nordic countries. As I said, the premiere will be sometime in September on Netflix.
