The Swedish U18 men won and became world champions a little over a week ago. Now it’s time for seniors to try to do the same. On Friday 13 May, it’s time for the hockey World Cup to take place in Finland, and Sweden will step into the rink for the first time on Saturday morning against Austria.

Last year, things did not go so well for Tre Kronor with a ninth place, while Canada defeated Finland in the final with 3-2.

In order not to miss anything and get in the mood, it may be appropriate to download the official hockey World Cup app right now. The app is available for Android and for iOS on the links below.

To see the matches themselves, it is Viaplay which applies to all matches. All of Sweden’s matches are broadcast on TV6 and other matches are broadcast in addition to Viaplay also on TV10 and in V Sport Extra. The tournament starts on Friday and Sweden’s first match is on Saturday morning, May 14 against Austria.
