Anyone who has always wanted to explore the game world of Elden Ring in VR now has the opportunity to do so with a new mod. Although the gameplay is severely limited in certain areas, the mod allows exploring the intermediate lands from a whole new perspective.

Interesting and exciting mods for Elden Ring are almost a dime a dozen thanks to a hard-working community, including hard and easy mode variants as well as various graphic and gameplay gimmicks. But the modder Luke Ross has published a work of art that is worth seeing in the truest sense of the word: His REAL VR mod for Elden Ring, the Ross available for download on his Patreon websiteallows you to experience the Land Between in VR.

Tourism mode allows free exploration of the game world

Players can choose to use the mod if they want Elden Ring want to experience from a first-person or third-person perspective. The latter offers three different camera perspectives and the option to slow down the gameplay – and that’s badly needed, as Eurogamer editor Ian Higton explains in a video on Youtube. Because the boss fights in particular are hardly playable in VR mode and especially from the first-person perspective.

Also, there are no motion controls, you still have to control your character with a controller or mouse and keyboard. However, users can call up an options menu at the touch of a button, with which various settings can be made quickly and easily and the perspective in VR mode can also be changed.

Finally, the mod also offers a special, so-called tourism mode, with which we can become invisible and explore the game world. Because Elden Ring thrives on its looks and atmosphere, among other things, the strength of the mod clearly lies in this special mode. Anyone who has always wanted to travel freely through the intermediate countries should not miss this download.
