Last year on Setphone.ru we presented an attractive smartphone from the manufacturer of public mobile devices INOI 5. The model that I will present today is already equipped with a 13 MP main camera (against 5 MP) and a 3500 mAh battery (against 2500 mAh), also removable.
INOI A62 Lite is based on the eleventh version of the Android Go operating system and has a large screen that is convenient for consuming heterogeneous content. Meanwhile, the device is in the same price segment as the model from last year’s material – within six to seven thousand rubles. Let’s talk about the features of the device.

Equipment and design
The smartphone is in a box painted in the corporate purple color of the INOI logo. Detailed specifications are listed on the back of the package and links to the manufacturer’s pages in popular social networks.
Under the cover is a device sealed in a plastic bag, a detailed and quick user manual, a charger with a purple USB-C wire, and a removable battery, which is very convenient, because it is easy to replace and dispose of at the end of its service life.
The smartphone is sold in two colors: classic black and blue (actually ultramarine), like our sample. The case of the device is plastic with a metallic sheen, which takes the form of arrows due to the unusual texture. In the center is a fingerprint scanner.
In the usual place are hard volume and power keys. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is prudently placed on the top side. At the bottom there is a speaker and a Type-C port for charging a smartphone and a small notch to make it easier to pry off the cover to install the battery, SIM card and MicroSD up to 128 GB.
Screen
The device has a large 15.5 cm IPS-matrix with a diagonal of 6.1 inches and a resolution of 1560 by 720 pixels (HD +). The aspect ratio is 18:9. The screen is equipped with durable 2.5D glass, the edges are rounded, the thickness of the side frames does not exceed 2.5 centimeters.
When the smartphone is activated, two circumstances are striking: the INOI A62 Lite display has a very decent color reproduction with good viewing angles and well-read pixels, but the maximum brightness level leaves much to be desired – the image fades under the sun, the movie will be uncomfortable to watch, although the picture remains legible.
The display has a cool color temperature. There is no way to correct the image in warm colors – you have to put up with a slight blueness that appears on white canvases. Otherwise, for a super-budget smartphone, the matrix is excellent, the colors are juicy, the animations are fast.
cameras
The INOI A62 Lite has a dual main module of 13 MP and an auxiliary 0.3 MP camera. The block is square, with small protrusions to protect the glass from scuffs. A flashlight is fitted in the lower corner, and an AI logo flaunts in the center, indicating the presence of smart functions.
You should not expect miracles from a camera of this kind, but on a sunny day it is capable of quite decent pictures. There is autofocus, color equalization and portrait mode with smart background blur.
The front 8 megapixel camera is also capable of portrait shooting, even the beauty filter with automatic skin enhancement is thought out, but all these functions are not easy for a smartphone – the Go-shooting software noticeably loads the device, AI algorithms take noticeably more time than smartphones costing from 10 thousand rubles and more. The biggest delays occur during photo processing.
There is no stabilization for video shooting, there is no macro mode, in the dark and in low light, photos and videos are grainy, which is to be expected. One way or another, for an inexpensive smartphone, the INOI A62 Lite camera is quite decent, albeit slow.
Software
INOI A62 Lite is based on the new Android 11 Go, a lightweight analogue of the current operating system, specially designed for low-performance mobile devices (Go gallery, Go camera, Go assistant).
The device received many advantages of the eleventh version, including extended compatibility with a number of utilities and peripherals, but remained moderately productive for its hardware.
All functions, from surfing the web using pre-installed browsers from Yandex and Google, to using instant messengers and social networks, do not work at all reactively when compared with modern flagships, but it is quite tolerable for devices from this price segment.
By the way, it seems that they decided to completely abandon pre-installed applications from partners and INOI advertising software – the user receives an almost virgin shell with only basic applications if he refuses to install additional utilities during setup.
Performance
INOI A62 Lite is powered by a 1.4GHz Cortex-A7 core and Mali-T820 MP1 GPU, so you can forget about modern games like Genshin Impact or League of Legends: Wild Rift, but applications like Asphalt: Nitro or super popular puzzle games from Playrix (Gardenscapes, Homescapes) runs quite well on it.
As I have already indicated above, the lack of memory and low-power filling generally affect the performance of the device when downloading applications and pages on the Internet, however, YouTube videos in FullHD format work without problems, photos and files from instant messengers and social networks load relatively quickly, several active applications the system is not suspended in memory.
The device has good, loud speakers, a legible fingerprint scanner, and a working face unlock. The only thing that confused me a little is that the battery heats up great while the INOI A62 Lite processes resource-intensive applications. However, no budget smartphone is immune from this problem.
Connectivity and autonomy
The INOI A62 Lite has a high-quality microphone, the voice is transmitted clearly and confidently, the interlocutor is also heard perfectly. Wireless communication with peripherals is provided by the Bluetooth 4.2 module – the standard is not the freshest and most stable, but it will do for a budget smartphone.
To use the Internet, the user will have to limit himself to third-generation mobile communication technology and Wi-Fi 4.
The battery capacity of INOI A62 Lite is 3500 mAh, fully depleted battery takes about 18 hours to load. In inactivity, the charge can last for more than twenty days, but with active use, the smartphone will have to be charged daily.
Conclusion
INOI A62 Lite is a device whose specifications more than justify the low price. It is not very productive, but everything you need on Android GO works properly, AI cameras are slow, but they shoot well, the maximum display brightness is low, but the picture is excellent and detailed.
If you need a super-budget smartphone to, for example, use a spare device for work purposes, be sure to take a look at the affordable lines from INOI.
