IT House June 8 news, today, TrendForce released the latest research report,It is said that LCD TV panel quotations have been affected by the continuous downward revision of brand purchases, and prices of most sizes have fallen to record lows.
Data show that in early June, 32-inch and 43-inch panels fell by about $5 to $6; 55-inch panels fell by about $7; 65-inch and 75-inch panels were also under pressure from overcapacity, falling by $12 to $14. TrendForce estimates that the overall LCD TV panel production capacity in the third quarter will be reduced by 12% compared to the original plan.
IT House reported earlier that not only did TV LCD panel prices drop, but a report released by research firm Omdia said,Laptop panel shipments to decline 21% MoM and 19% YoY in April 2022. Shipments of 9-inch and larger tablet panels fell 2% sequentially and 17% year-over-year.
