Frontier Developments today officially announced the release date for the new F1 Manager 2022. The management simulation, in which you become the team boss of a Formula 1 team, should therefore be available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One from August 30th. The goal is then: Lead your own racing team to the 2022 World Championship!
The confirmation of the date not only comes with the release of a new gameplay trailer, which you can see below, but also the possibility to pre-order. Those who decide early can secure a discount of 10 percent on the regular sales price and can also get started five days before the actual release – i.e. on August 25th.
The management simulation wants to score with a high level of detail. From the paddock to the podium, you must make decisions on and off the track to ensure your success. You also need to review balance sheets and keep both the board and key team sponsors happy. From scouting and investing in the best people, such as B. race engineers and the head of aerodynamics, to the development and evaluation of new car components: everything is important to stay one step ahead of the competition.
The driver pool consists of a whole range of drivers from F1, F2 and F3. Each driver of the 2022 F1 line-up has been realistically recreated and digitally captured to accurately represent them and their driving style on the track. The races are shown in broadcast optics and feature a variety of camera perspectives.
