After unveiling its roadmap less than a week after release, Weird West is unveiling its second major update called Snake-In-My-Boot. This one brings new places, contents and many corrections.

Lots of improvements!

A little over a month after its release, Weird West is already expanding with a nice content update. Snake-In-My-Boot adds several new locations to discover as well as the Wraith and Ridgerback scenarios to the existing Secondary Abandoned Mines location maps. These improvements make the game more diverse by differentiating encounters.

New natural caves have been implemented and these also promise more random enemies. Within these are many puzzles and puzzle traps that will be used for several scenarios. The opportunity to test the new gameplay elements integrated for this update, such as the ability to kill enemies silently with the butt of your weapon!

In order to make the game more immersive, punches will always stun enemies to 0 health instead of killing them, which keeps you out of trouble multiple times. Throwables have been revamped and are now much easier to use.

And of course, what would a worthy update be without bug fixes? The listing The list is long and the small developers at Wolfeye Studios seem to have done a good job. Your inventory and those of your companions have been slightly redesigned to make them easier to read.

The developers also lightly detail what the 1.03 update which will arrive in June will bring. According to them, the next patch will introduce even more new content, new encounters, new secondary locations and new scenarios. The developers also mention an overhaul of the overall economy and player progression as well as significant improvements to the AI. If that’s not beautiful?
