According to producer Naoki Yoshida, a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI will be released soon.
During a crossover stream to Nier Reincarnation and Final Fantasy XIV stressed he also reiterated that the game is nearing completion.

In the stream, Yoshida told viewers that they can expect the new trailer in the near future.
Actually, it should have been published already, but it had to be postponed due to various factors.

The game is almost finished
Yoshida also states that the team has now spent a long time fine-tuning and fixing bugs in the game and that it is almost complete.
He thus confirms statements that he recently made in a new interview.
A release date for the game has not yet been set. In December 2021, Yoshida announced that the development of Final Fantasy XVI was delayed by around half a year and that new information could be expected this spring.
So that is likely to be the case in the near future. When exactly that will be, we don’t know yet.
