Kojima is said to be working on a horror game called Overdose

Game journalist and comedian Tom Henderson is on the move again, and this time he says he has seen a video from an announced horror game being developed by Kojima Productions. He is said to have received the video from a source who, for obvious reasons, wishes to remain anonymous. Judging by the description, he seems to have seen a trailer of the game, so if you do not want this trailer revealed, you should not read on.

The video seems to show the character “Mama” from Death Strandingbut because it does not seem to be Death Stranding 2 – as Norman Reedus happened to reveal a while ago – it is probably the actress Margaret Qualley who plays a new role. Henderson says the woman in the video is wearing a blue dress and walking through dark corridors with a flashlight. It all takes place in a third-person perspective, but he says that “it is suggested” that you can also play it in the first-person.

It all ends with a jumpscare and the text “GAMEOVER”, followed by “A Hideo Kojima Game” and “OVERDOSE”. Henderson is a reliable source, and something that gives even more weight to this leak is that he writes on Twitter that he has been contacted by Kojima Productions and has been asked to take down the article.
