May we see more on the sit-down evening on Sunday?

Game journalist Jeff Gerstmann (formerly Giant Bomb dude) is said to have seen a brand new Minecraft-based game – this time a real-time strategy title. It is through its own Twitch channel as he reports that the game is far advanced, and that we may even see it during the Microsoft non-E3 press conference this Sunday (June 12).

Apparently, Gerstmann has seen documents regarding the title, and he claims that the RTS, which will be in a test phase, puts the player as commander over a “Steve-like” figure who in turn orders other combat units.

“From the basic descriptions, and I got to see a couple of screenshots of it, it seems like a real-time strategy game – an RTS of sorts. But the difference is you’re controlling a Steve-esque unit on the field and ordering your units around in a third-person view. And you’re taking on Piglins and it’ll have a story and cut-scenes and all this other stuff. “

According to Eurogamer, this is not about the 4X strategy game that has already been rumored and leaked, but a completely new title.

As recently as yesterday, we reported that Minecraft Java and Bedrock now sold as a package for pc.
